NCEPS completed a state employment audit and passed with flying colors thanks to Jaye McDermott, our Rankin McKenzie part-time Controller. In fact, the auditors’ visit was very short as she was so impressed with our books and records. We have been very pleased with our RM resource and feel like she is an integral part of our team. We have enjoyed her support and look forward to a continued strong relationship.

For over a decade, the consortium we were part of managed its finances internally. After bringing Todd on board, we realized there were missed opportunities we hadn’t noticed before. Thanks to Todd’s hands-on management, not only have we stopped losing money, but our returns have also improved significantly. It’s a huge relief knowing that someone with such diverse experience is handling things. Looking back, my only regret is that we didn’t make this change sooner.

Jaye has been an invaluable and impactful resource for us. Our Rankin McKenzie Partner joined our organization in September of 2023. Wake Radiology had never had a CFO before and the rapid growth of our organization over the last 5 years had outstripped the capacity of our accounting team. We asked them to reorganize and build out our finance team while at the same time “teaching” the whole company what a CFO could do. Along the way they helped us find several key administrative personnel, helped solve a few politically delicate compensation problems and helped lead some key negotiations with our hospital partners. We now have a much stronger financial team infrastructure and are better positioned to take advantage of future opportunities.

Kathy Morris has worked with HexaTech for the past 13 years as a fractional CFO.  Even though she worked part time over the years, she has always been a critical member of our management team, and a key contributor to HexaTech’s success.
