Alex Duhon

Following the departure of a previous consultant, Alex took over the roll of DHIC’s Finance/HR Consultant and was able to step in and sort through everything on her own in order to keep us functioning without any down time.  Alex is thoughtful in her approach and thorough in her research of systems and processes.  She is easy to work with, and I trust and respect the input she provides in our Finance/HR area.  We look forward to our continued relationship with Alex as a trusted business partner.

Alex is reliable, accurate, and knowledgeable about nonprofit financials. MiracleFeet initially hired Alex when we had a transition in finance staff and needed immediate assistance to keep the bills paid and lights on! Alex jumped right in and was quick to learn our systems and processes while also providing great insight and feedback about ways we could improve. At the time, we were in the midst of an accounting software transition, and even though she hadn’t used the new software, she was eager to support us through that transition. Alex was so good that we have kept her on board even after we re-hired, and Alex now provides support on short-term projects as needed.

Though we were not ready to hire a full-time CFO, we sure were glad to have the assistance of Alex Duhon every week. Alex served as CFOH’s part-time controller, keeping the numbers in line so we could continue to fly kids. We loved having her as part of our crew!
