Jeff Bell has over 26 years of experience in public accounting and in private industry. Mr. Bell spent a large part of his career working for a Dixon Hughes (currently Dixon Hughes Goodman) in their Dealer Services Group. While there, he concentrated his practice on automotive dealers, providing services to dealers from those with a single point to large mega dealers. He also has extensive experience in real estate, manufacturing and distribution. His public accounting experience includes tax compliance and planning, audits, reviews and compilations, agreed upon procedures, operational analysis, merger and acquisition consulting, due diligence, litigation support services and LIFO compliance. Jeff’s current clients include NeuroTronik, a medical device company, Spyryx, a biotechnology company and NuXel, global medical device accelerator .
In private industry, Mr. Bell gained experience in all aspects of running and operating a business. He served as controller for BGB Management, the management company for a multi-franchise, multi-state automotive group and more recently 7 years as the Vice President of Finance and member of the Board of Directors of an industrial and steel distribution company with revenues in excess of $100 million and locations in 7 states. While there, he controlled all financial reporting, credit and collections, purchasing, treasury and asset management, strategic planning, budgeting, federal and multi-state tax compliance, insurance and banking relationships and information technology. He also negotiated, analyzed and performed due diligence on acquisitions.
A native of North Carolina, Mr. Bell earned his Bachelor of Science, Accounting and Masters of Business Administration degrees from East Carolina University. Mr. Bell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
