Jamie Wilkerson joined Spiffy as Interim CFO during one of the most challenging periods in our company’s history. At the time, we faced limited cash reserves, cash flow negative operations, strained vendor relationships, and a team uncertain about the future.

As a versatile professional with over 20 years of experience, Jamie Wilkerson has led financial operations for many types of companies, including startups, publicly traded entities, and private equity- backed organizations. Her expertise spans various sectors, including life sciences, pharmaceutical, service-based industries, contract research organizations (CROs), government grant-funded projects, and non-profits. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) who began her career in big four public accounting, Ms. Wilkerson brings expertise in financial planning and analysis, risk management, and strategic financial leadership. She has successfully navigated complex financial landscapes, contributed to organizational growth through multiple acquisitions, and streamlined processes throughout her career. She has been an executive and was integral to the successful company exit of Velocity Clinical Research to GHO Capital (UK based private equity firm).

  • Chapel Hill Psychiatric Services, PLLC, an adult mental healthcare practice providing psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and management services
  • a healthcare company offering tailored pharmacy solutions for large corporations

A native of North Carolina, Jamie attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and a Master of Accounting (MAC) from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).  A sustaining member of the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties (JLDOC), she has served in various leadership positions such as Treasurer.  She also serves on the UNC Kenan Flagler Business School Next Generation Committee.

    Oversaw financial planning, risk management, and capital structure optimization. Led NetSuite implementation.

    Focused on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives for a global contract research organization (CRO) with annual revenue of 2B+.
