After COVID, our restaurant, brewery, and event businesses were facing a lot of challenges, and I knew I needed better financial information to understand what was working, what wasn’t, and where we needed to make changes. Christie came in, took a close look at our accounting and financial processes, and helped us see where things could be improved. She gave us practical recommendations to make our reporting more useful, speed up processes, put better checks and balances in place, and reduce costs. As an operational and financial executive leader with over 30 of experience, Christine Osborne has provided leadership and guidance in finance, accounting systems, and business development across multiple industries at companies ranging in size from start-up to international public organizations.

Ms. Osborne started her career at a Big Four public accounting firm, worked with a top international information technology consulting firm, spent over a decade in business consulting with an international firm, then combined these skills by working in accounting and financial leadership roles. She has applied these skills across many industries, including Healthcare, Home Services, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Professional Services, Real Estate, Retail, and Telecommunications.  She is a licensed CPA in North Carolina and highly proficient with GAAP accounting.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Christine attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she participated in the Honors Program and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in computer science.  She obtained her MBA with Highest Honors from London Business School while working in London, England for three years.

  • 2025: Rejoined Rankin McKenzie as Partner.
  • 2023-2024: Assistant Controller at Fleet Feet, a private equity company with multiple business units covering e-commerce, franchise business, headquarters, and company-owned stores.
    • Oversaw the GL team and all financial functions, including the monthly and annual close process and departmental financials.
  • 2021-2022: Director of Finance and Accounting at Vigilant, a private company that provides bespoke and large-scale governmental healthcare.
    • Cleaned up financial records, created accurate financial and management reporting, and provided budget and cash flow management to optimize cash and debt structure. Designed and developed the finance and accounting department to support the recent high-growth and support system conversion from QuickBooks to Costpoint.
  • 2018-2020: Partner at Rankin McKenzie.
    • Worked with start-up companies to develop and manage accounting and human resource functions.  Selected and managed relationships with financial vendors, including bankers, payroll providers, auditors, tax accountants and insurance brokers.  Managed budgets, cashflow and monthly reporting. Also provided system clean-up, acquisition and first-time audit support.
  • 2004-2018: Independent Contract Accounting and Consulting Services.
    • Accounting and Business Contractor working with top management at private companies to develop, assess, and implement optimal business models to support the vision and strategy while ensuring sustainable financial results. Designed back office and operational processes, system improvements, and implementation plans.
  • 1996 -1999: Business Consulting Manager at Arthur Andersen, London office.
    • Led international strategy and process redesign projects.
  • 1996-1999: Executive MBA at London Business School.
  • 1995-1996: Vice President of New Business at WorldTravel Partners (merged with BCD Travel), a national travel firm.
    • Hired to implement a business model created as an Arthur Andersen consultant. Continued worked with existing business lines to reengineer, with a technology focus.

    • Focus on re-engineering, process design, reorganization, and best practice implementation. Training and skills in team leadership, project management, and change management.
