Angie has been so impactful since day one. Before she joined the team, we had poor record-keeping, many historical mistakes in our financials, and an audit around the corner. Angie completely cleaned up our financials and standardized our monthly reporting and presentation to the Board of Directors. We just completed the audit process ahead of schedule thanks to Angie’s leadership and guidance. I cannot say enough about the positive impact Angie has had on our organization, and I look forward to continuing to work with her as we continue to grow.
Due to an unexpected medical situation, our CFO was going to miss 2 to 6 weeks of work – with little ability to communicate with us at all. We contacted Rankin McKenzie and within a couple of days met with Angie, and she felt like a perfect fit. She spent a few days with our CFO and quickly got up to speed. It was a great comfort having her take over the day to day finances for a couple of months until our CFO was able to return to work full-time.
From the moment Angela joined our team, her impact has been both collaborative and transformative. Working closely with me, she has implemented efficient workflows for accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and reporting. She has developed and documented formal procedures for recurring financial tasks, ensuring both consistency and compliance across the department.
Angela has been instrumental in building realistic, strategic budgets that align with firm-wide objectives and in enhancing our ability to track and manage key performance indicators. Her efforts have resulted in faster processes, more strategic budgeting, and stronger, more insightful reporting.
In addition to her process improvements, Angela has led targeted training sessions for the finance team, equipping staff with the tools and knowledge to work with accuracy and confidence. She is consistently proactive in offering assistance and mentoring others on the team, helping each person leverage their strengths to contribute more effectively.
I hired Angie in the midst of a significant growth period and was in need of a self starter, and that’s what we got with Angie. I had no reservations regarding hiring her and was impressed by her enthusiasm for her work. She was an excellent business partner, and I had the utmost trust in her as her leader as she was privy to all customer communication. Overall, I most remember her attention to detail and financial acumen. I was so disappointed when our contract with Angie ended as ultimately it required me to staff two distinct roles to replace Angie’s work.
